I don’t really plan out the way a book is going to end – I am a by-the-seats-of-your-pants writer. Why? Because it makes it more interesting for me, and hopefully more alive for the reader.
I do sometimes write out the chapter titles though, and that gives me a flavour of how the rest of a book might unpack. There are no hard and fast rules, and my impetus to do something like that is as likely to change on the whim of an inspiration as anything.
Weapon Eyes, Sir is something I have lived with for a while, so I am really looking forward to landing it. There is something nice about delivering a baby you have carried for a long time. When Reality Engineer Vol 1 is a physical book something great will have occurred. I love my work, and I hope that translates for people – and I have immense fun writing it.
