Nanobomb

Moving home disrupts stuff. It was a necessary thing though – I couldn’t have stayed in the old place any longer; the place itself was great, but the management sucked the proverbial.

I haven’t written so much, and Nanowrimo kind of stalled before it even started – but there have been a lot of ideas, and things started. New avenues of story, bringing completely different angles of approach into view.

I have been rejigging something in my visual palette and the way I think about narrative construction as I watch Orson Welles, and then fill in the Wim Wenders I haven’t seen, and John Cassavettes.

I have my Chromebox close to being operational, and I am getting things in place for my home office. It takes time, and time without planning slips away easily, doesn’t it?
